Chockkalingam “Chock” Karuppaiah is an advisor to Solidec and has over 27 years of experience in electrochemical technologies. He is the Founder of Vetri Labs and Chief Science and Technology Officer at Ohmium International. Previously, he held leadership roles at Bloom Energy, Case Western Reserve University, and Plug Power, driving innovation in fuel cells, batteries, and electrolyzers. Chock holds 38 U.S. patents and earned his Ph.D. in Electrochemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
