Andrew is an advisor to Solidec and has been in the water industry for over 17 years with a career that started at the startup company MIOX and now has him as part of multi-national De Nora Water Technologies. During his time in the industry, he has held a variety of roles ranging from R&D to sales and was a member of the leadership team during MIOX’s initial VC exit and subsequent acquisition by De Nora. Currently based out of Northern Colorado, he has been a mentor for CU Venture Partners for several years, where he supports the launch of tech-focused startups from CU Boulder and regional universities. Prior to joining MIOX, Andrew studied at North Carolina State University for his undergraduate and Master’s degrees, received his Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and spent the first several years of his career carrying out cutting edge research at Sandia National Labs and a NASA-funded research institute at the University of Hawaiʻi.
